This online workshop is the last of the 1st level of AECP. I wasn't looking forward to designing a men's card with Altenew stamps, so I pushed the course to the last place. For me Altenew stands for beautiful flower stamps. I also didn't have any of the sets presented in the course and when I think of the men I send cards to, they wouldn't have been the right motifs either.
But there was one idea that I liked so much: Men's cards with geometric shapes. There are endless combination possibilities with geometric shapes, different colors and techniques and Altenew offers some wonderful suitable stamps and stencils, I just hadn't been interested in it before. I immediately ordered the small set "Trigonometry" with the matching punches, which appealed to me very much.
I designed the background on the Gelliplate with blue and white acrylic colors and pressed geometric figures (circles) into the color.
I stamped the triangles on the square background with black Archival Ink. Additionally I punched out triangles from silver Mirror Cardstock and glued them on. When placing the triangle with the holes I made sure that the triangle in the background was visible through the holes."Happy Birthday" was also included in this set, stamped on white cardstock and glued with thicker tape.
Have fun trying it out.
