This is a card which I'll send to a Dutch friend, De Fabeltjes Krant" was a TV programme I used to watch before sleeping when I was a little girl, it celebrated 50th birthday last year and my sister told me they will make some new stories, I'll put a link on the thread to show this, so how did I made this...no idea!! it came up bits by bits, I started with an oval die cut and worked all around to make him look like the original I hope my friend will like him, there are lots of punched hearts, 1 square for the beak, a heart for the face, arrows for the feet, parts of a doily die cut for the wings and hand cut head border.
I gave him a "newspaper" and found a design paper with a bit a forest look.

so fun to hear about other's experiences with stories. My grandfather, a book collector, ordered a lot of books from England/Europe so I was exposed to books that most American children weren't. That owl is a sweetie, so cute.

This looks like the sort of creation Di would enjoying making, she's so good at punch art (like you!). Your owl is a sweetie, the doily makes such super wings and I like the way he's holding the newspaper.
