It's tickle a teapotter time! And we're tickling each other with cards based on our favorite children's story. You can see my favorite childhood book in my photo--Grover's New Kitten. I had it memorized. This is not actually my book from when I was little. I found a copy online so I could read it to my boys. How could you not love this book? Look at the cute pictures of Grover and his little kitten (her name is Ginger). I used this Tiddly Inks digi because the little kitten playing with the fish toy reminded me of Ginger playing with her toy. I colored her to look like Ginger and I sponged the background with blue to make it Grover colored. Finished off with a pink yarn bow to match Ginger's toy.

I dont remember that book but I remember Grover my brother loved Grover and also Ernie and Bert from Sesam Street. He's over the 50 now and still has a big collection from all the toys and other stuff about them. Your card is so cute with the same twine as Grover and the kitten playing with the fish these images are real fun, lovely card for one of us!!

Like Anita, I am not aware of this book but my children grew up watching Bert & Ernie (their favs) and Grover on Sesame Street, which means I watched them too! Your card is so sweet with the kitten images and I love the pink twine!

I love Grover....such a sweet, kind soul. Your kitties are adorable, reminds me of our Tito, my grandkitty who died last fall. I miss him so much, he was an orange kitty, the first kitty I ever loved. well done with this sweet card.

How precious! Super cute kitty and Grover was always my favorite Sesame Street character. I also had the Little Golden Book called "There's a Monster at the End of This Book" which starred Grover. LOVE!

How cute...your pics of the ginger cat are fun..I like all of her antics. Are you still in WI? Did you make this while there? I'm amazed how you can do that. Maybe I'll be the lucky one to get this in my box....

Oh my - I want to reach in and cuddle that little kitty. I've been having cat cravings recently, LOL. There's a black cat who sometimes comes into the yard and loves to be stroked, I'd forgotten how lovely it was. Your card kitty is totally adorable.

OMGoodness Jen! These playful kitten images bring tons of smiles as a fun memory of kittens we had as kids and found homes for the seven we (myself and siblings) had the pleasure to raise. Love the newsprint bg which with these adorable kittens! Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
