This card is for the Misti Monday Challenge where we had to make a card using one colour and adding texture or a die cut.
I'd already made one card in blue and love this technique so much that I decided to make one in my second favourite colour...pink.
I chose one of my favourite BG stamps and all was going well until I noticed that one corner hadn't stamped well. Nothing for it but to ink the stamp again and try and match it as best I could. Another lesson learnt.
The sentiment was die cut out of metallic paper and mounted on the circle which I popped over the centre of the beautiful flower on the BG. In hindsight I would prefer to see the whole BG as its such a beauty.
When I mounted the sentiment it seemed lost, so off it comes tearing the centre of the circle. Easy fix...another one cut and mounted on top. It gives it dimension lol.
The sentiment was then cut in pink and offset behind the metallic one. Bling added and done.
TFL. Happy day

I must say, you know how to cover up your tracks well. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this beauty. That is a gorgeous stamp that you have used. I like the 3-D effect that you created with your sentiment. Lovely card.
I am a "Senior" trying to purchase Hero Arts Basic Grey Spice Market Cling Stamp, CG638, Large Petal Background. Impossible to find anywhere at the present time, so I am seeking more unconventional avenues.
Is there ANY price set you would consider selling your stamp for?
Please advise.
With thanks for your consideration,
Janet
