Our Featured Stamper this week is Marge Yoon. She has such a lovely gallery and I decided to come out of my comfort zone a bit because of this card. I don't do a lot of florals and I never watercolor. I just don't know how to. So I pretty much took my Spectrum Aquas and traced the outlines and dragged the color out with a paintbrush. A little sloppy looking and pretty scary to do, but I'm happy enough with it. My only problem is that when I printed out my digis for some reason a black rectangle printed out to the left of the sentiment. I was too lazy to try to print it again, so I colored over it with black marker and added some extra black around it.

I wouldn't say this was in the least bit sloppy Jen! This is beautiful and you'd never know it was your first watercoloring - how wonderful you were inspired to try it and create this lovely card!

You rocked the water color. I am always shy about WC as well although I love the technique. This is lovely and I like the water the sentiment is offset - sometimes "mistakes" yield great opportunities for something out of the box.

This is soooo stunning Jen! Wow! This looks like a professional made it. Thank you for sharing how you made this card because I want to try this technique now. You really made a gorgeous card based on Marge's beautiful inspiration card. ~Karen.
