 | | The hardest thing about stacked stencils and/or layered stencils is deciding which stencils go together.
The stacked part of my ATC is the rain drops. I stacked the random dots on top of the splash drops. Then I used Wink of Stella on top of them after adding the color. The rest of the stencils are layered. There are three different stencils layered for the grass/plants and then the clouds are layered on top of the drops. I started by sponging Pool Party over the whole sky area of the ATC. Everything was added on top of that.
Inspiration? My granddaughter loves yellow, so I got her some yellow rain boots for Christmas. We had a warm day and puddles right after Christmas, so we got to go puddle splashing together. |
