Hold on to your art supplies today with the announcement of our Featured Stamper: FS623 ArtzadoniStudio, Lori. I know of what I write because I've had the pleasure of visiting this creative genius' studio. Oh my, what a confession of stamp envy and studio envy, I must make as this weeks' FS is a hometown neighbor. You're fortunate to have this eclectic artists' gallery to stroll through. Enjoy the fall down the rabbit hole...
My card to honor Lori is based on FF17bejoyce Lucky Stars by Artzadoni Studio. I needed a sympathy card and Lori's star theme spoke to me. I began by creating a heavenly star filled sky. The Dylusions wacky star stencil was perfect. And it matched Lori's slightly off kilter style as well. I used Modeling paste through my stencil. After it was dry, I began laying on color with Gellatos and Inca Gold wax rub. Some of the stars also have a black shimmer EP, done in a random way.
The spyglass was inked onto smokey grey PTI paper and embossed with a platinum EP. I used TH tiny screw brads at point on the spyglass.
"Tears are often the telescope through which we see far into heaven."
I used a white pearlized paper to stamp the sentiment. And used a tiny three star stamp randomly around the quote.
Lori, I hope your gallery is filled with creative works from this band of fellow artists. I adore your energy. Have you found a way to bottle it? I'll be the first in line.
Thanks for your comments. Can't wait to see the gallery.

What a truly fabulous sympathy card this is! I am very impressed with this card you made based on Lori's wonderful inspiration card. This spy glass looking into your wonderful star-filled sky is just fantastic, and really gives a lot of meaning to your fabulous sentiment. This is going right into my favs! ~Karen.

Oh, Susan! My tears are flowing and I feel like I am in Heaven on Earth from all of the attention today. I savored the moment of anticipation before clicking on your card. WOW! Your knock out knock off is one that I cannot wait to touch and admire in person and IT WILL HAPPEN! A Gelato/wax rub combo. eh? Why did I think of that??? Brilliant results that TH would also be very proud of. Those screw brads? Lucky girl, I DON'T have any of those! I am in massive organizing mode of my over-spilling studio, but once it's semi presentable I will come a knockin' for some serious face to face sharing. I am sorry you need a sympathy card. I wish all those touched "Smooth Transitions" . See you soonly........

Let's talk studio envy, because I am forever jealous that the two of you (two of my very favorite artists) live so close to each other. I mean really. Such talent in Oregon. I just can't stand it. So anyway, One4Joy CASEing ArtzadoniStudio? It's like a dream come true for me. And you did not disappoint, my friend. This card is just all kinds of fabulous. I love that rich texture and the patina look. Stunning!
