Hold on to your art supplies today with the announcement of our Featured Stamper: FS623 ArtzadoniStudio, Lori. I know of what I write because I've had the pleasure of visiting this creative genius' studio. Oh my, what a confession of stamp envy and studio envy, I must make as this weeks' FS is a hometown neighbor. You're fortunate to have this eclectic artists' gallery to stroll through. Enjoy the fall down the rabbit hole...
My card to honor Lori is based on FF17bejoyce Lucky Stars by Artzadoni Studio. I needed a sympathy card and Lori's star theme spoke to me. I began by creating a heavenly star filled sky. The Dylusions wacky star stencil was perfect. And it matched Lori's slightly off kilter style as well. I used Modeling paste through my stencil. After it was dry, I began laying on color with Gellatos and Inca Gold wax rub. Some of the stars also have a black shimmer EP, done in a random way.
The spyglass was inked onto smokey grey PTI paper and embossed with a platinum EP. I used TH tiny screw brads at point on the spyglass.
"Tears are often the telescope through which we see far into heaven."
I used a white pearlized paper to stamp the sentiment. And used a tiny three star stamp randomly around the quote.
Lori, I hope your gallery is filled with creative works from this band of fellow artists. I adore your energy. Have you found a way to bottle it? I'll be the first in line.
Thanks for your comments. Can't wait to see the gallery.

Wow, Wow, and another Wow! Susan this is fabulous. The sentiment is wonderful and perfect in the spyglass. Love your amazing card.
I am in full blow envy that the two of you live so close and can play together. I think one of you should host a crafty slumber party. I'll drive down ;)
