The background was using the black ice technique. I smeared Stazon Jet Black ink onto aluminum foil. After it was dry, I covered it with versamark ink, sprinkled clear embossing powder over that and then heated with heat gun. I stamped image with stazon jet black on white paper. Fussy cut and popped up with dimensionals. I punched a few flowers from scrap of pink design paper. Added large rhinestones as the centers of the flowers. I colored the skin with colored pencils and copic markers.

i just discovered black ice recently, it is a cool technique. I want to be this woman. Everyone has regrets but you can't dwell on them. She doesn't. very cool card, very dramatic.

So much sparkle and shine in your black ice bg. I tried it several times but just was never happy with the outcome I got. Love the sentiment - that's how I want to live the rest of my life!
