I've twisted and tweaked the sketch to accommodate a photograph that shows what I have been doing while away from SCS-ers. It shows one of the 12 poppy displays I personally created to commemorate the eleven soldiers who died from my village - I used nearly 4000 poppies. Other villagers created wonderful displays too, and we think over 10,000 poppies were on display - all made from recycled plastic bottles! I computer generated the words and numbers.

oh my oh my...I don't think we in the states truly understand what others went through over 100 years ago. My grandfather enlisted but was just on his way to France when it ended. This is indeed very special and I thank you for it.
