Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week. She asked us to combine Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz. The dessert option is to include a 3-D element on the card.
I really need to get crackin' on my Christmas cards, so a pink poinsettia is the star of my card. I die-cut and embossed the bracts (petals), then sponged ink through the vein openings in the dies, and then sponged the edges as well with Calypso Coral ink. I did the same with the green leaves. The background paper is sponged with Distress Oxide inks and then edged with gold, as is the greeting circle.
Thanks for stopping by and please play along with us this week!

Barbara, what a GORGEOUS card! I love the music background and really love the softness of your poinsettia along with the beautiful gold-embossing sentiment and edges! Stunning card! Hugs! xoxo
