F4A452 challenge: Just Be You
Love this kind of challenge and I have to say I am an eclectic card creator. My favorite cards are Christmas cards and wintry cards full of snow, SNOWMEN, snowbanks. I love doing all kinds of cards--CAS, cards with scenes, faith, loaded with goodies, watercolor, underwater, cards with lace die cuts or with flowers. Today, though, is a rustic card which I also love.
I used no stamps on this card, just die cuts, embossing folder, and Copic markers.
I really like my 3-D lumber embossing folder...so much texture. I colored the browns with the broad tip of my Copic markers, then ran over spots with a gray Copic to age it. I thought the wreath and pine looked good just left in white.
Some of the tail of the bow was chopped off and the used section colored with a Copic marker.

I just recently found that wreath for sale at my HL. I have only made one card so far with it. I was so glad to see how you used it on your card. I love the bg you made.

This is beautiful and so you. I also like the embossing folder you used, I thought it was dp, until you mentioned it. I always love your snowmen and snowy cards.

Hey, your wood looks like my house inside!! LOL! I know you like different card styles, you and I are alike there! I love them all and could decide what me is so had to go with subject matter like you!
I love the wood look you got with your Copics and you are right, your dies are better left white! They really stand out!
Thanks for playing my friend!

I love the faux wood background, beautiful card. I’m guessing you love snow because you haven’t already suffered your first snow fall. I always hate seeing my garden gone and I’m to old for a snowball fight. Lol
