This card is for the two September Christmas card challenges and the colour challenge for last week.
Quite a quick card with the hardest bit being making the background tartan. I used a number of different nibbed markers and a ruler to achieve this.
I used DecoArt Snow Writer to achieve the snow and just scribbled marker colour onto a gloss tile and picked it up with an aqua pen.
I heat embossed the greeting and that's it folks.

Gorgeousness!! I love making my own plaid bkgs. However I rarely make it straight and perfect like yours Sis Marg. Boy am I gong to miss your beautiful creations once your Reno gets on its way!!

Marg, this is beautiful and your snow gives it such a wintry feel. I love your bird and the pretty holly. Fabulous job on the tartan background.

Oh, Marg, what a gorgeous tartan that is perfection! I also thought it was DP, and you are amazing and so skilled at it! What a darling snow bird and so beautifully colored.
