I'm late to the tea party this week with a sliding pop up card with a cheerleading theme as my back to school card. It's a combination birthday and back to school for a 10 year old cheerleader. I've also combined with Jeanne's challenge to use big words. I love big words and I used the big "Cheers" stamp from my new favorite birthday set. I get so worried about fun folds, but Kim's video was really easy to follow and my only problem was that I originally made the cheerleader too big for the card. So I had to print and cut a new one. So I stuck some sticky tape to the back of the bigger one and she can peel off the backing and stick her sticker wherever she wants. There is one thing that I wish I had done and that is put her on a wobble. Darn it! I forgot I had those! And she would have been awesome on the action wobble!

She looks pretty awesome as is, Jen. That's one fold I forget about, for some reason I remember the free-standing one more often. And you're right, Kim's tutorial makes that one so easy, and it has great impact. It's perfect with the cheer-themed sentiment hidden inside for a surprise.

This is such an adorable, cheery card that I thought I'd check out Bugaboo to see if they had similar boys stamps that I might use for my grandson's cards. They didn't, but I found some other great stamps. So thank you (yet, I'm not sure my wallet thanks you) because I ordered some great masculine stamps I can use on an order I already have for next year's (2019!) Father's Day cards (12 of them!). You made my day in a couple of ways!

very fun, love it. my granddaughter, two years ago, announced that her life goal was to be a cheerleader. Now she is 7. Don't know if that's still high on the list but she certainly cannot sit still.

Super pop up Jennifer and great image for a cheerleader too. It works so well for the Teapot challenge and the F4A challenge. Nicely done combining those challenge.

I am so with you on the fancy folds...I immediately panic whenever faced with one but...I'm surprised sometimes at how easily they come together. This is really fun and I love the wobble element. Great card for your cheerleader!
