Hi there! It's time for a new Color Challenge! Karen is hosting this week and she has chosen the lovely color combination of Rich Razzleberry, Berry Burst and Old Olive. The dessert option to use a touch of gold, to which I say "Yes, please"! I'm also joining the current Free for All challenge, where the theme is "Let's be Friends" and the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge here to create your own background.
My card is pretty self-explanatory. I used the challenge colors to watercolor both a background and the group of lotus flowers, die cut both and added to an ivory card base. The flowers and sentiment were heat set with gold embossing powder and metallic gold paint was splattered on the background for a bit of additional interest, along with adding a few sequins.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

Stef, I've been gazing at this lovely card for a while now, trying to decide what has mesmerized me so! I think it's the soft colors, the gold splashes, the neat die cutting, and just the overall beauty of the card! So lovely!
