| | I am very nearly late for last week's Teapot Party, but I simply had to make and send this card to Ron who is recovering from a serious injury. He has a long road ahead of him and can use some encouragement. I honestly struggled enormously with this challenge for reasons I do not even understand. I made several cards and none of them were right. This card feels better than the others I made. I started off by stamping the multi-level tree, then masked it off and stamped the background trees. I added "leaves" to the bg trees using a flower stamp from the SU Watercolor Minis set. I sponged in the ground and sky and added some grass and small flowers here and there to the scene. I added the sentiment and the card still needed something. I rummaged around in my stamps until I found these deer stamps and they seemed to be what this card needed. Whew! Thanks for looking today! ~Karen. |
