Plaid Blessings

Photo Details
Poster: Art Deco Diva

I made this card for this week's TeaPot Tuesday challenge. Kandie is our hostess this week and she chose the theme of "Glad to Be Plaid" which is right up my alley, and she asked us to use a Celtic theme. Fun! I chose to use this Irish Blessing sentiment stamp and highlight it with a detailed die that has this fleur de lis motif which feels Irish to me. And nothing says Irish like a 4-leaf clover. I added a little wink of stella to the center of the 4-leaf clover so it sparkles a bit. Thank you Kandie for this super fun challenge this week. Thanks for looking. ~Karen.

Oh, that plaid and the green framing for the sentiment (with pearls) is so beautiful, Karen. I'm just wondering about the actual likelihood of a rainbow and blue skies - since it takes rain for a rainbow! But the expressed wish has a lot going for it. I quite like the rainbows and the grey sky that comes with them - it's the grey sky that comes all the other days when there are no rainbows that's so oppressive. You've certainly got a great Celtic creation here for Kandie's challenge.

Karen, love your beautifully framed blessing. The pearls and ornate frame remind me of Belleek pottery!

Congrats on getting faved twice on this beauty. It is very celtic looking and I love it! The diecut framing your poem is beautiful. That Irish blessing is one I had not seen before and it is beautifully said.

Such a beautiful Irish blessing and your frame and your plaid, shamrocks, and pearls really highlight it. Very nice.
