This card is not my usual style but I love this pattern paper by Fun Stampers Journey and thought it would be too bold with a full quarter sheet. I saw a card on Pinterest by Marybeth Lopez and decided that the white would tone down the tartan. I'm not usually a focal flower kinda card maker but I liked the look of Marybeth's card and gave it a go! The sentiment is tripled and glued together. I did get a pop of purple in there to remind us of Celtic heather and thistle.

Beautiful job, especially for going out of your comfort zone. I am with you on the tartan too much as well, As I too had troubles toning it down. I love tartan but have trouble using it on cards, maybe because busy?..not sure. But you rocked it. your flowers match so nicely...TFS...:0)
