Use our older stamps - that's the challenge at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog. I used this week's sketch with a flamingo stamp I've had for at least 6 years. Even the sentiment is a few years old also.
After watercoloring in a splashy way I die cut it with a Spellbinders die. A scrap of patterned paper, strip of burlap ribbon and a button tied with embroidery thread and here you have it. I stamped the sentiment and did some paper piercing.

That is such a pretty die to frame those fabulous flamingos. The colours all work well together and I think that the little twist of thread is lovely. Thank you for joining us at Retro Rubber Challenge this week. Isn't it good to be using your old things again? :-)
