For today's Mixability challenge - we are to use a puzzle, or puzzle pieces.
Well, nothing resembling a puzzle piece could be found in my craftroom - but I did just purchase this wonderful Labyrinth embossing folder and that's a puzzle right??!
The embossing folder actually leaves a little square unembossed where I put my frame and sentiment.
The background is something I made a while ago using several colors of Distress Oxide Inks that I rubbed on my craft mat, spritzed with water, pressed my card panel onto it and then dried with my heat tool, one color at a time. I also must have spritzed it with something gold as it has a shimmer in the light!
I will use this as a congratulations or graduation card and have left the inside blank for now.

Those labyrinths are such fun. I remember we used to have an old one with mercury, I'm sure it would be considered a total health hazard now, but we were fascinated by it. As I am by that wonderful embossing folder and your beautiful background which calls to mind the colours in the old faded frescoes in Knossos when we visited the palace there.

Awesome card - love the embossing folder. Oxide inks make such amazing backgrounds. Great card.
