One of the things I love to do sometimes is to make background layouts with my left over scraps from other projects. I set them aside and then when I need a quick card, I can pull from my pile of them. That is what I did today. I had this black and white card from made, added the leaves , the rose, and the sentiment. I inked white paper with my twisted citron pad to make my lime color, then I diecut the leaves. I had a piece of design paper left lying around that seemed to me melon mambo colors, but then I added some melon mambo over it to make sure it did. I went for the dessert this week, since I did need some last minute mother's day cards.

Your patterned rose looks terrific against the black. I like the way your pattern papers are dancing around the card. The damask, stripes and florals all work so well together for a beautiful card.
