I did have a card almost finished with the braided edge like a couple I saw on Carlene's gallery, but ....COFFEE happened...mental note to oneself...keep coffee cup on other table. so had to start again.
I decided to go spring with a Hyacinth with some lacy edges, hopefully a bit of a vintage look...I did add some ribbon to dessert...all straightforward...but I thank you for the visit...have a super day...:0)

Oh, that embossed border for sure gives a wonderful vintage look - and the colour scheme. And isn't that corner punch Heritage or something like that - I think I have the same one. This almost makes me think I can smell those sweet blossoms.

How beautifully you combined the challenges today. That hyacinth is so pretty, and all the surrounding lilacs and purples! I really like the rope-look of the oval under the image panel! BEautiful embossing and corners!

WOW I love the amazingly beautiful framing of your hyacinth! So pretty! And I know how it is ...we all have had "accidents" while making cards...glad you were able to start again. You've created a beauty!
