This card is for a VSN Challenge using watercolours on Yupo.
Love this technique and paper but beware.....any finger print will find its way onto this paper...even when wearing gloves. It also buckles after heat drying, but flattening can be done later LOL...I'm on a time limit for a challenge.
I'd already made this BG playing with my paper so all I had to do was pop it onto a card.
Layers of watercolour were added where I wanted to stamp and moved around with either a heat gun or blowing on the card.
Lots of dabbing was done with a paper towel which gives it a speckled effect. Water was misted (from a great height LOL), and some drops of rubbing solution added. I didn't want to get too carried away with this, and for some reason the solution I have doesn't seem to have much alcohol in it and wasn't working as I expected.
The beauty of this paper is that you can go back to it later and add more colour, which I've done.
Lace and tag added and another challenge done.
