Cathy has asked us to use strips of dp on our cards for the WT Challenge - I, too, have trouble throwing away strips of dp and do store them in a box.
I love the colours of the dp I have used, I have 4 strips here which I have overlapped. I then embossed the whole card using an Anna Griffin EF. Stamped the sentiment and adhered to fleur de lis die cut frame. Added these daisy stickers, which I bought some time ago, and have finally used on a card!

Marvelous look to your strips...embossing makes it a WOW! Love the horizontal striped edge, your lacy frame for this wonderful sentiment, and those great daisies. Summarizing...I love everything about the card, including the color combo!

The overall embossing is a super look, Sue. And I love that one of your papers is itself striped - the combination of vertical and horizontal stripes is great.

Your strips look great all by themselves but adding the overall embossing really made them into a cohesive whole to back up the pretty daisies and super sentiment.
