I was going to use the back side of some very thin paper which I had coloured using Sharpies through a stencil - but it was so thin there wasn't much difference between the two sides, LOL - so I used the piece it had bled through onto as my background here. That's already the backside of an old songsheet from church. I'd used green, blue and yellow Sharpies. I stamped the text in blue over the top half.
I was spraying earlier and had my spray box out, so the round red patches on the paper towel looked as if they'd make great poppies; I cut them out roughly and added crepe paper centres and white Enamel Accent dots. The stems are copper EP on a line of glue, and the leaves were cut from more of the paper in my spray box, as was the foreground strip.
That foreground was a bit deep - so I pulled out a scrap of bubble-wrap stamping with Brushos and made a little snail, giving him a trail of microbeads. Edged it in silver, matted on black and then a pearlescent white base. Not 100% sure about this but DH (like me, home on a snow day!) likes it. And it brightens what has turned into a very grey day.

This is so pretty and cheery, Sabrina! Love the poppies. I need to plant some new ones here, I had to leave behind my garden border of them when we moved and really miss them. My son called my Dad Poppy Red (his nickname was Red) so this flower means a lot to me.

Those poppies are wonderful!!! I love the texture your card has with them. That little snail really took my eye though (after the RED!).
