This ones for my oldest son...thought it was the most masculine of my cards made to this point. This ones primarily for the Alphabet Challenge...trying to finish Round 8 before Round 9 begins! I also found a layout idea in the current Featured Stamper challenge.
#1. Alphabet Challenge, Round 8, Letter N - DD8ABC14N -11/8/17...no double challenge for me on this round. Because this card was for my son, I wanted to bend toward a masculine look, so I decided on an old My Minds' Eye patterned paper...Love Me/ Number Grid that is done in browns and reds. It is where my idea for this letter comes from: N= Numbers, which is the reverse side of this double-sided paper. My card title also came to mind from the Numbers..."Numbers for Valentines!"
#3. 2018 Use It Challenge - USEIT2018 - year-around challenge to use old and new but never used materials and tools. Everything about this card fits from old papers, especially MME paper (made in 2011), to the punches and stamps. It truly fits the challenge requirements.
Ingredients: Stampin' Up cardstocks--Kraft, Real Red, and Very Vanilla. Patterned paper: My Minds' Eye - Love Me/ Numbers Grid. Stamps: P.S. I Love You. Ink: Early Espresso. Punches: Stampin' Up--1-1/4" Circle, 1-1/2," SU retired--Scallop Border, Modern Label, Word Window, Triple Corners (inside); Martha Stewart--Lace Scallop Heart LG; Zutter--Corner Rounder. Recollections Pearl: LG - Copic colored. Dovecraft Pearls--Christmas Basics--smaller pearls. SCS Alphabet Challenge - Letter N!

What a lovely Valentine card for your son, Carlene. I'm sure it was a hit with your son! Beautiful die cut behind your focal image. Love that 2 heart 14 in the center, perfect!

Terrific. Nice case of Michele's cute card. I like how you focused & framed the part of the paper with the date. Creative! It does have a masculine look to it for a Valentine's card. Clever idea for Letter N. Well done with all the challenges and your son's Valentine's Day card. Love that background paper. TFS
