 | | This ones for my oldest son...thought it was the most masculine of my cards made to this point. This ones primarily for the Alphabet Challenge...trying to finish Round 8 before Round 9 begins! I also found a layout idea in the current Featured Stamper challenge.
#1. Alphabet Challenge, Round 8, Letter N - DD8ABC14N -11/8/17...no double challenge for me on this round. Because this card was for my son, I wanted to bend toward a masculine look, so I decided on an old My Minds' Eye patterned paper...Love Me/ Number Grid that is done in browns and reds. It is where my idea for this letter comes from: N= Numbers, which is the reverse side of this double-sided paper. My card title also came to mind from the Numbers..."Numbers for Valentines!"
#2. Featured Stamper - FS75 - 2/11/18. This week's featured stamper is Michele aka Michelerey. She has a very full gallery full of oodles of ideas. I chose her Teeny Tiny Wishes Gingerbread House Shaker Card by Michelerey at Splitcoaststampers for its layout and color design.
#3. 2018 Use It Challenge - USEIT2018 - year-around challenge to use old and new but never used materials and tools. Everything about this card fits from old papers, especially MME paper (made in 2011), to the punches and stamps. It truly fits the challenge requirements.
