Designed this card with the teapot challenge (sun) in mind and tried the sun ray technique that I saw on pinterest - it's harder than it looks. Tried a few different times and although this isn't as awesome as what I see out there I decided it was OK. Used a variation of the CC 669 colors to create my scene. Still need more practice. Stamped the winter tree using the TH stamping platform and a bit of masking.

The sponging in the foreground is beautiful...it's so soft, and gives the impression of a misty morning sunrise. The sun looks good too...I'd imagine it's quite hard working the rays round the sun! The time I was most happy with this my sun was off the card so I didn't have that aspect to worry about.
