 I love that with this technique I can make 2 really cool cards in under 10 minutes!!!

Find the "how to"

Since I don't have a lot of strength in my hands, on this set of cards I placed a large dictionary over the phone book which resulted in much more even pressure for me!

Ah, I was going to say I pressed quite firmly. I haven't reached your first attempt yet, bit your second string is certainly up with the first violins! It looks like stiffened gauze or mesh, delicate and structured.
