 | | This card was made for 3 challenges: the Alphabet challenge for the letter R for red, the Color Challenge to use Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Silver (although, I may be pushing the boundaries for silver for the color challenge with this gray cs. Let me know!) and the Ways To Use It Challenge to use a bird on your card. I think this Hero Arts cardinal is so regal looking. Once I stamped the bird, then I took a brayer in smokey slate and rolled that onto the embossing folder, then I stamped the single tree from the SU Lovely As A Tree set 3 times onto the embossing folder over what I just brayered using SU basic gray ink, and ran this through the cuttlebug. I use a piece of craft foam behind the "silver" panel to give the lift for the shaker card. This card was a lot of fun to make and I am giving it to my SIL as part of her Christmas gift. Thanks for looking! ~Karen. |
