I saw Christmas Bird Count, but I needed a birthday card for a friend so didn't make it Christmas, her Birthday is in January.
I first stamped the brown linen with white pigment ink and a flower stamp from verve stamps, then I used the same stamp for the design paper and stamped the flower on half the paper in diagonal then I stamped the row of birds and the singing bird for the music notes I used a part of a music stamp, stamped the birthday sentiment and embellished with twine and flowers

Oh, I sure hope the Christmas Bird Count was just the event and not the challenge ;-). Birds and music are such a perfect match. I love the flowers stamped in white.

The twine & flowers add such nice texture to this card - I went with a birthday theme too as I interpreted the Christmas part as to WHEN they did the bird count . . .
