hi there,
Here is my card for the WT today; Distress It.
I used the Splash Watercolour Technique to do my background then stamped over that using my Misti.
I used a stitched die to help distress the edges then white heat embossed the edges to give it more of a distressed feel.
I splattered with white acrylic paint to mimic the look of snow.
thanks for looking http://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/20...-on-earth

Karen, this is so beautifully done! I love the watercolour bg ......the beautiful blue. I love the forest of trees and shadowy trees in the bg. The added stitching is subtle, yet very cool.

I recognised the splash background straight away - even on it's own I think it fits the distressed them, and the distressed edges certainly suit it perfectly, a snowy frame.
I have seen, somewhere, a wildflower meadow stamp very similar to the Inka one. And probably better quality - mine has stuck to the backing sheet even though I took care to take all the stamps off
it as soon as I got them - I didn't have anything suitable to put them on other than the back side of the original sheet. If I find the other stamp I was looking at online, I'll let you know!
