I was good today and got outdoor chores and school with my kids accomplished. Everyone's off in various directions so I am playing in VSN. The first game theme is monopoly and we were to do a monochromatic card. I was on Lydia's blog today and she linked to an older post where she stamped in Stazon then went over the stamping with an Elegant Writer pen and then activated the ink and let it bleed. Black ink is so cool because it is made up of more colors, but usually I don't get the purple unless I dab it off. However since I was trying for monocolor I wound up with a little more than I expected of course. I added Wink of Stella so this really has glittery highlights that didn't photograph well. I stamped the sentiment in Onyx and embossed in black to make sure that I hit the Mixed Media requirements for today's Mixability Challenge too.
