MIX250 = drunken alcohol reveal. See Lydia's video tutorial here.
This technique looked easy enough....but something went amiss with my attempt. Either my acrylics were not the right kind or my consistency was not correct...I didn't get much "reveal". The top layer of paint was white. It was late and I decided just to "go with it".

Super cool technique and look, Sallie. I love how you stayed muted. Looks great!

Oh, Sallie, this is perfect! I rather love the subtle color changes and really love how you've used some of the patterned vellum for several balloons. It's soft and beautiful!! Hugs!

Sallie, I just know the birthday recipient will love this card. I really like your balloon patterns and I think the background is very cool. And, the silver glitter cs tops it off in a wonderful, bright way.

My goodness Sallie, this card has such an ethereal quality to it that it is downright magical. I'm not sure what went "wrong" with the technique, but I would say it all ended up the way it was supposed to. I am so glad you rolled with this because this is one stunning birthday card! ~Karen.

Well, I love your card and like others I tend to like the subtlety of your background. After watching Lydia's video I see what you mean about now getting much reveal to your white layer, but it is still gorgeous. I love the balloons. The polka dotted ones look like acrylic sheets on them maybe. they look really cool at any rate!
