Am I the only one who likes this stuff? I love to up-cycle and alter old recipe cards and I had the good fortune of having the perfect stamp for this one. I used Versamark and green glitter ep for the sentiment, which is on a scrap of vellum, and on the photo corners. Using photo corners allows the recipient to actually read the back of the card for the recipe, but being that this one is fruitcake, would they?

This is so awesome! Great upcycling! How cool that the recipient could actually make the fruitcake. And presumably give it to someone that they don't like. LOL!

I love fruit cake. I hope to make my grandma's recipe if I can ever get my family to share it with me. It is the best. Super duper fun image. Perfect for the treat challenge. Lovely card.

Oh my gosh! I have never thought of upcycling all those recipe cards I got rid of!! This is fantastic - You certainly did have the right sentiment to go with the card! I do like some fruit cakes, but really I like my fruit in cookies - the ones some people call fruit cake cookies!
