Sketch Challenge 102517 - my first one. The dark background is actually a soft charcoal gray, *not* black, and sentiment cream, not white. Sentiment is clear heat embossed and small leaf has Wink of Stella on it.
I can't believe there's not a stamp in sight.
This is for a gentleman going in for surgery this week, so had him in mind.

You really are jumping into the challenges with both feet!
A little creative licence is fine so long as it's possible to "see" the sketch - rotating it, changing up from rectangle to square, changing a shape. Some people like to follow exactly, some like to be inspired.
I like the layering and the overall masculine feel to this.

Awesome job on your first Sketch Challenge! Welcome! Love this one. The die-cuts are terrific. I especially like the leaves. Nice colors. Wonderful card with no stamps - I'm impressed! You did great. I'm sure your friend appreciated the card. Thanks for playing along; hope to see you again for the Sketch Challenge. New layout every Wednesday. No deadline. TFS
