This is my falliday fest card for Patty's challenge. Since I really don't have anything gray in my studio, I opted for a shaving cream background using black ink, which ends up with shades of gray mixed in. There is so much visual interest in this piece, I didn't want to cover it up.

I turned my head and looked quickly at your card, I thought it was on horse running in the wind on the left of the card! Such fantastic swirls of color!!

I love,love, love to see the pattern created from the shaving cream technique. I have not seen this done using black ink but it is spectacular.
