I was very impressed with this this clever idea and thought it was going to be difficult, but it really was quite easy. I woke up with the idea to try to make it from an old calendar page. This one is actually from a catalog page that had a good weight to the paper. This made the "artwork" a snap and all I did was stamp and emboss "Garden Diva". I folded the page in half and used a 2" square die cut for the opening. I made a second one from plain card stock, glued it to the first so it would be lined and the promotional writing on the back wouldn't show. The box was very simple to make. I decorated it with a fancy oval label and a metal alphabet letter "K" for my Daughter in Law. Used a glue gun to attach the silky flower.

Wow, wow. Great use of the calendar, it must have been a lovely one. I usually use mine for envelopes, something DH is happy to do for me. The decorative monogram oval on the little box is so in keeping with the style of the photo. What a wonderful card for your DIL.
