This card was inspired by a lesson from Kristina Werner in Online Card Classes' "Merry Making" class. I inked my panel of watercolor paper with Distress Oxide inks, and Black Soot Distress ink (since I don't have the Black Soot Oxide ink). I created the bokeh effect with a wet paintbrush, following the tutorial. Once that was dry, I stamped & heat embossed my snowflakes. I also stamped some snowflakes in Yeti ink, for an even more subtle effect. I die cut my greeting from both white & black cardstocks. I adhered the black words, then glued down the white, slightly offset to create a shadow effect. Finally, I matted my panel with grey & navy blue cardstocks, before adhering it to a white card base.

Kristina Werner used to be active in SU! and SplitCoast - glad to know she is still around and inspiring others. This is a beautiful bokeh effect, love the colors. A standout.

Gorgeous! I want to try this but I am afraid it would be a sooty mess. Wonderfully done and it looks magical!
