I went a little non-traditional with my card today using the color combo of Real Red, Gold, and Basic BlackÂ….with of course lots of my favorite Whisper White
The card base is our Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″. I recommend you score the Thick Whisper White before folding to make sure you have a clean, crisp edge.
The next layer is that snappy black and white buffalo check from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. I know folks have lots of opinions on black on a Holiday Card, but I think it looks very sophisticated and chic!
A layer of 4 1/2 x 3 1/4″ Gold Foil paper really ups the wow factor and turns this card into something special.
