This is for Nancy’s DTGD challenge. I feel like I went back in time with not only the vintage style but also with the supplies. SU! products (all retired): chipboard heart, matching vellum & paper and Rose Romance cardstock. The stamps are retired as well. To add to the feminine look, I added a scrap of lace, a pearl and some flowers cut from my wedding dress. When our DD was engaged & planning her wedding, we took out my wedding dress. She did not want to wear it; instead we cut some pieces from it to make her garter as her “something old”. She had a store-bought garter to toss and kept the handmade one as a keepsake. There were extra cut pieces left over that I kept aside. The flowers seemed perfect for this card. I think I know who I’ll be sending this card to! TFL

How wonderful to use something from your wedding. I love this vintage card and bet your daughter will, too.

OMGosh, this is sweet and lovely. How awesome you used a piece from your wedding dress and can send your daughter something so special. Lovely vintage card. So great you could use some old stamps too. I think old stamps are the best anyway. Many hugz and thanks for playing!
