Sorry my scoring isn't exactly thrilling. Perhaps I should have looked on Pinterest for scoring ideas, but I've found myself short on masculine birthday cards.
I've seen this sentiment on Pinterest and decided it would be a good opportunity to actually use the mushroom embossing folder that I have. I chose to do a wax paper resist with it. I printed out the mushroom and colored it and I had a plan to score a sunburst around it with a scored frame. But after I scored the frame, I decided I wanted to leave it CAS. So I scored a frame around background panel too. I like how the scored frames look and I wouldn't have done them without this challenge, so I'll take that as a win. |
