A couple of weeks ago I sat down and played with watercolor paper, trying my Zigs and Distressed inks to see what I could make. Well after doing about 5 I decided I didn't love any of them and sat them in my ever-growing pile of things I started but didn't like. I finally decided I need to make more Christmas cards and thought I would do this nativity scene. I couldn't decide on a piece of paper, so I went through my pile and found this. I stamped & embossed him, but decided he needed more. So I pulled out the dark blue and browns and added them. Took my Zigs and colored the clothes. Now I just need to use the rest of the stuff in my pile! I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Amy, this is beautiful! I love how you've managed to "rescue" this and make it into a lovely Christmas card. I really love this set and how you've colored it. And what a beautiful Scripture verse above the nativity scene. I love it, sweet friend, and I know you will be able to salvage more of those "practice" pieces. I was just looking at one of mine. Ha! Hugs!
