Thank you Toni for the June birthstone theme. We are gathering for a friends birthday this weekend and believe it or notÂ… I didnÂ’t have a card planned for her. Thank you Diane for the great sketch! My friend LOVES Lilacs and I thought the sketch works well for highlighting them. Just had to make the layout wonky.
I dropped some purple and green tones of watercolor onto wc paper and glued to panel. The frame is an impression obsession die and the lilacs are JoleeÂ’s boutique dimensional stickers Also added a few random pearls.
All the rain has been wonderful for flowers this year! Have a great day!

Those lilacs are beautiful - can't believe they are a sticker! Your partially watercolored background is a perfect backdrop. Bet your friend loves her Lilac card!

Gosh, Angela - that lilac looks just so beautiful! You matched the colours perfectly with your abstract background - on which the little dotted pearls look just great. A really elegant card for your friend.

I must remember to try making a watercolour background next time I die cut my lilacs. This is beautiful, your friend will be thrilled with her birthday card.

Fabulous. A creative rendition of the sketch. The background is terrific. Love the colors. The flowers are beautiful. I like the artsy look of the tilted frame. The pearls are a lovely addition. Well done with so many challenges in one. TFS
