For the MIX challenge - distressed meets raindrops
I followed the tutorial MariLynn provided. Once dried, I directly stamped sentiment in versamark then heat embossed. It didn't turn out the way I wanted, so I stamped & embossed on a piece of CS and fussycut, and popped up on foam dots.
I will send this card to the Amish family MariLynn mentioned.
Thanks for the challenge, I really enjoyed using my seldom used stencils.

LOVE -LOVE that sentiment - that's how I want to live life ! Great ghosting in your pretty colored bg and I like how you've balanced the saying in one corner with the partially stamped frame & enamel dots in the opposing corner.

Oh wow, you got such a fabulous effect with the water, Jeannie! And I love the stamped corner detail too. Been there, done that with the sentiment but actually I really like the way it looks popped up. You got a good colour to stamp it on so it belongs to the card instead of looking like a repair!

Your card is so pretty!! I love the butterfly and the dragonfly. I have tried this so many times this morning. I have pieces all over my craft room, and I am happy with none of them. I don't believe in working this hard for a good result. Nonetheless, I may try a time or two more. Thanks for sharing your beauty.
