This is for Maura's color challenge this week. Very classy colors. real red, black, white. This card is going to a very special lady who is turning 93 tomorrow. We are taking her to a movie this evening. She was the first lady from our church who made me feel very welcome into the neighbor hood about 40 years ago. You never forget people who have been kind to you.
This is also for the challenge over at Power Poppy for no line coloring. Check it out..... http://powerpoppy.blogspot.com/2017/...-no-lines.html
Using the digi, did the printing with 15% opacity. I do print one with 100% opacity out on copy paper to know where the lines are on the image. Using the reinkers and a black water color pencil, did the coloring. Using the sizzix die, embossed. Added wink of stella. Did the sentiment with my pen and nib. Splattered with black ink when finished. TFL

Gorgeous colouring! Thank you so much for the details on how you printed the image. I've yet to try the 'no line' technique and love how your painting looks. Your beautiful penmanship complements the rose perfectly!

I never think of doing something like this with my digis. You learn something new every day here on SCS! Really stunning card. Loving your calligraphy as always--I really struggle with f's.
