I skipped dessert since my heart cards are signed, sealed and ready to be mailed.
Used SU black reinker to watercolor the image. Since I never use black "real" watercolor, so using the reinker was different(squirrelly) from using other reinkers...must be the pigments that are needed to make it "black". With true watercolors, I always mix my black...just a more lively color than black out of the tube.

Black is hard to work with when sponging too, Sallie, but I've never tried water coloring with it. Your touches of red are so pretty....a wonderful card to send a note to someone you are thinking about~

Sallie, this is such a serene and gentle scene. We used to leave our milk in cans just like this, at the end of the lane way for the milk truck to pick up.

Sallie, this is lovely, in spite of your "squirrelly" black. ;) The small splashes of red in the painting have tremendous visual impact.
