This is for the Free4All challenge today to make a Valentine card. I threw out several attempts before I hit on what kind of a man my DH is, and then I knew what to do. We met a year ago at an estate sale, got married, and have been working together at them ever since. We love junk, uh, trash to treasures, and we have a marvelous time being silly about it. I found the saying online, attributed to Rose Franklin, and typed it on my rusty old typewriter (purchased at an estate sale, of course.) Some stamped chair images, some brass charms, and a bit of old twine, and here is my Valentines Day card for my sweet man. I hope you enjoy the fun! TFL

WOW this is perfect for your antique loving DH! I love your little embellishments on this and that you typed the saying on a rusty old typewriter...how awesome! Your guy sounds like he's a "treasure"

Kandie, I loved your collage at first sight and the story even more - congrats on finding a man who shares you love of "treasures" - so nice when someone shares our passions!

I really like how personalised and special this is - now I know why you make such great vintage cards, your eye must be tuned it. What great accents, especially the clock. And the brick wall paper, that looks fab.
