This is for the MMTPT445 challenge, and also another practice technique of the Background Check online class, the last section of Lesson 1, Acetate Ink Smooshing. This technique uses a piece of acetate to pick up ink directly applied to a nonstick craft sheet and misted, and then smooshing or painting with the acetate. This took me about two hours and 13 colors of distress ink. Lighthouse is stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa. The card is sprayed with shimmer spray. The sentiment goes with a girl stamp I have, but I thought it was appropriate for here. Thanks so much for looking at my practice projects! This one also goes to a fellow Teapotter for this week's challenge!

It may have taken ages, but wow, it paid off in buckets. The depth and variation of colour is so beautiful. It sounds like something I should try - I've never had much luck with the acrylic block background stamping, but being able to smoosh the colour and have a bit of choice where to apply it, that sounds more do-able. Roll on the weekend! What a great choice of sentiment, too, to pair with that wonderful lighthouse image.

Your bg turned out AMAZING!! I love all the different distress colors..I really like how the blue and purple(?) in the sky had different values of color...some light areas and some darker. Well done! Oh and the sentiment is perfect!
