Blue Valentine

This is for the "V" challenge. Decided to make a Valentine for my husband. I first stamped the heart in pacific point and then added Frantage Aged Marine which has some gold flecks in it. Hence the brushed gold mat. I stamped the sentiment in the Encore gold and then clear embossed it. Inside greeting is You rock my world- SU Perfect Words. Double challenge was to include two things that include this week's letter. So: very vanilla and valentine.

Oh my gosh! I never thought to clear emboss gold encore! That gold and silver takes forever to dry so that's perfect! Love the heart!

I think your sentiment is from a set called Holidays & Wishes.

Shirl, this is absolutely stunning my friend! Your husband is going to flip when he gets this beautiful (manly) Valentine card! My husband would love this card too because it is in his favorite color- blue! I love the frantage marine blue you added to this heart- fantastic! Very well done for your DH's Valentine card. Love the brushstroke heart in blues. I used the same sentiment on my Letter V card. It is Holidays & Wishes, as Kathy said. Love the CAS design with the open space. Great card. I may case this for my DH. TFS
